95 Sunday timetables change...

...to meet trains in Leven

Stagecoach have published new timetables for a number of buses to help them meet trains at Leven Railway Station.

At the moment only the Sunday timetable is changing on the 95 with buses during the main part of the day departing Leven 20 minutes later at 35 minutes past the hour - passing through Crail at 40 minutes past the hour on their way to St Andrews.

As a consequence (because the incoming bus hasn't arrived in time) the Sunday 18:50 departure from St Andrews is retimed to depart at 19:10.

This change does mean that there are a couple of gaps in the Sunday services of over 90 minutes...

The Stagecoach announcement says the new timetable starts on Monday 3rd June - but the new train service starts on Sunday 2nd June - so it's not entirely clear if the 95 timetable will change on Sunday 2nd June or Sunday 9th June... Timetable details on TravelineScotland suggest the 95 won’t be changing its timetable until Sunday 9th June. We advise you to be prepared for buses to be running to either the new or the old timetable on Sunday 2nd June.
